A 4 Feathers occurs as 1902 adventure novel by British writer A.E.W. Mason which has been filmed several times. It tells a story of British officer, Harry Faversham, who resigns from either his regiment upright prior to a Battle of Omdurman in the Sudan in the late 1880s. He is faced by having either recovering himself of the subsequent charge of cowardliness, instead losing any respect around tail Victorian society.
